£18,000 a year pro rata.

Finance Administrator – based in Newtown, Mid Wales

This role will ideally suit an experienced Administrator, or a recent graduate (or equivalent) with some previous office experience who is looking for a career role.

Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities

To assist the Business team in all aspects of client administration and support following set procedures.

To include processing of client forms, undertaking credit checks, the input and upkeep of accurate client records in Customer Relationship database, liaison with third parties involved in contracts and new loan finance, and keeping the client informed of on-boarding progress.

The post will be based in the new Enterprise Hub Centre and also involve client based functions related to this new service.

Person Specification

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience of maintaining and keeping accurate database records
  • Processing and reconciling transactions of a financial nature
  • Experience of producing documents and reports including proof reading
  • Experience of communicating with clients, colleagues and third party personnel at all levels both orally and in writing
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems to include CRM databases, Excel, Word, Mozilla, and Cloud storage.

Skills:

  • Highly organised with keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure overcoming obstacles and managing high and/or fluctuating workloads to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent numerical skills

Hours: 9-5 with half hour for lunch, 25 days holiday 3% pension
