Young Voices warm up for O2 concerts with ETO Music Practice
Our Start Up Loan client ETO Music Practice has won a major new contract to produce all the music practice apps for the five sell out Young Voices choir concerts at London’s O2 Arena.
Young Voices is a programme which provides opportunities for school children around the country to join together and take part in a huge concert, where they will sing as part of a choir numbering some 4,500 – 8,500 performers. The aim of the project is to inspire children with a love of music and performing, by providing them with a spectacular performance environment where they can sing and dance before an audience of family and friends.
The role of the eto practice app is to help the children learn a varied repertoire of songs for the concert, through practice at school.
You can find out more about the Young Voices choir concerts on their website and watch footage of a moment from one of the recent concerts in Birmingham.
ETO have also teamed up with the National Library of Wales for a project that aims to teach the people of Wales the words to our National Anthem, Hen Wlad fy Nhadau (Land of my Fathers). The ‘Gwlad Gwlad’ App lets you learn more about the Anthem’s history and helps with the pronunciation and the understanding of the words.
For further information on Gwlad Gwlad, or on eto’s full range of music practice apps, check them out on Facebook or visit their website.
