Sarah ReastChair of Board

    Sarah has been Director of Timberkits Ltd since 2012 taking over from her parents who founded the company in 1993. Timberkits designs and manufactures wooden mechanical models sold in kit form. Timberkits cover a wide range of themes and ability levels and are sold all over the world. She had worked as a freelance Theatre Designer for 15 years previously honing her skills in project management alongside the technical and artistic demands. Her combined experience in both careers makes her very multiskilled and adaptable.

    Sarah has always been involved in third sector and community initiatives such as the Dyfi Biosphere (UNESCO) and her local Council. She is fascinated by the machinations of collective human endeavours and the dynamics of collaboration.

    Her involvement in ROCBF is borne of curiosity in how connections are made across myriad sectors and interests for the benefit of communities and the environment. She brings a practical approach to her role as Chair and seeks to combine the best skills and expertise of all members according to their strengths and experience.
